Join the Berkshire Printmakers for this fun, creative hands on Silkscreen Printing on Paper course.
Berkshire Printmakers bring their huge library of plain, patterned screens, squeegees, water based inks and stencils to their workshops.
This beginners’ course will take you through how to use a squeegee and get good printing results, how to create and print with paper stencils, print with translucent colours and experimental printmaking techniques using charcoal, pastels and working directly on the screen. No experience necessary as you will be taken step by step through the process by the two experience teachers – All materials included in the cost. Bring an art apron.
Berkshire Printmakers have been taking taking their popular printing workshops into art centres, schools, colleges, and museums. They have worked with Marlborough Summer School, Salisbury Museum, Hat Fair in Winchester and the Children’s Festival in Hungerford to name a few.
Berkshire Printmakers are husband and wife – Sarah is a trained art teacher with a degree in design and Venezuelan artist Cipriano has taught screen printing at degree level. He studied his Masters at Chelsea College of Art.
