Beginner & Refreshers Silk Screen Printing Workshop

Berkshire Printmakers are husband and wife – Sarah is a trained art teacher with a degree in design and Venezuelan artist Cipriano has taught screen printing at degree level. He studied his Masters at Chelsea College of Art.
They take their workshops to schools, colleges, art centres and festivals including the Hat Fair, Winchester and the Carfest Festival. They are members of the Heritage Craft Association
Beginners and refreshers screen printing –
Learn about the Heritage Craft of Silkscreen Printing with two experienced printmakers. Get to grips with the art technique made famous by the likes of Andy Warhol, John Piper, Eduardo Paolozzi and Roy Lichtenstein.
No experience necessary for this printmaking workshop as you will taken step by step through how to make your own multi-layered prints, how to use optical colour mixing, create positive and negative paper stencils, learn about layering translucent inks, and get a handle on using a squeegee.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to explore this versatile technique, all materials are included in the price.
Dress for mess and bring an A3 portfolio/envelope to take your art work home.
